We offer (human) Financial Assistants who can help you manage expenses, eliminate debt, and save for the future.
Helping Hands is a tax-free grant funded program designed to provide emergency assistance (up to a $2,000 lifetime limit) to caregivers who are experiencing a crisis, unexpected hardship or at risk of domestic violence and are unable to pay for basic necessities such as food, housing, utilities and transportation.
Caregivers who register with Brightside will get paired with a personal Financial Assistant who can help with all things related to money – including submitting the Helping Hands application online.
Register here to get started, quickly connect with your Brightside Financial Assistant, and learn about all resources available to you.
Any caregiver who is experiencing a crisis or unforeseen hardship can apply. Temporary, and/or independent contractors are not eligible for Helping Hands.
To apply, call Brightside at 1-855-979-7768 or register for Brightside here. Identify yourself as a caregiver of Providence or one of its affiliates and request an assessment interview for Helping Hands.
Based on their financial assessment of the information you provide from the interview, application, and supporting documents, a Brightside Financial Assistant will refer you to all applicable personal and/or community resources, which may include Helping Hands.
