Brightside Ranks Among Highest-Scoring Businesses on Inc.’s Annual List of Best Workplaces for 2024

Inc Best Workplaces 2024
Brightside, the first Financial Care solution for employers, has been named to Inc.’s annual Best Workplaces list for the second consecutive year. Prominently featured on Inc.com, the list is the result of a comprehensive measurement of American companies that have excelled in creating exceptional workplaces and company cultures, whether operating in a physical or a virtual facility.

“At Brightside, we’re deeply committed to helping solve real financial problems to overcome the financial illness plaguing our workforces, particularly frontline employees,” said Tom Spann, CEO and co-founder of Brightside. “We show the same passion for supporting our clients as we do for our internal team members, and it shows. We’re honored to be recognized for the culture we’ve been able to cultivate as a Best Workplace for the second year in a row.”

Brightside is on a mission to improve the financial health of working families, particularly for the seven in 10 Americans living paycheck to paycheck, by providing a single destination for employees and their families to address any financial need with unbiased, personalized, and non-judgmental support. In addition to benefits like generous paid time off, flexible work-from-home options, and access to Brightside’s Financial Care services, Brightside’s employees recognized the company as a Best Workplace due to its purpose-driven mission and supportive work environment.

After collecting data from thousands of submissions, Inc. selected 543 honorees this year. Each company that was nominated took part in an employee survey, conducted by Quantum Workplace, which included topics such as management effectiveness, perks, fostering employee growth, and overall company culture. The organization’s benefits were also audited to determine overall score and ranking.

“Each year, Inc.’s Best Workplaces program recognizes the very best in terms of companies that have fostered a truly amazing culture,” says Inc. editor-in-chief Mike Hofman. “We use hard metrics and data as well as qualitative measures for judging in order to find the very best—and we’re proud that the program is highly selective.”
